Nihar is one of the most traditional Pakistani dish very famous specially in breakfast. Its thick spicy gravy made with beef however you can use lamb or chicken to make it as well.

Dry roast and grind all the whole spices.
Heat butter in a deep bottom pot add beef, ginger and garlic paste, red chilli powder, coriander, powder, turmeric and salt. Saute it for 5 minutes.
Add the freshly made nihari masala and 6 cups of water. Mix well and cover and cook on low flame for about 3-4 hrs until the meat is tender.
Dissolve wheat flour in half cup of water such that there is no lumps. Slowly add it into gravy. Stir to mix it well in the gravy and let it simmer for another 1 5 min till the gravy thickness.
Now add tarri sprinkle some lemon juice garnish it and serve with naan… enjoy.
