Black pepper chicken is a spicy Chinese dish with a dominant flavor of black pepper. We just love black pepper, its sauce and to add it in just about anything. This recipe will be a nice addition to a Chinese dawat menu because its something different and taste different than the regular Chinese gravies.

Marinate chicken in the ingredients mentioned above for 15 to 20 minutes.
Deep fry in hot oil for 2 minutes. Strain and cover.
In a wok add butter and oil.
Add garlic saute for 15 seconds.
Add chopped onions and saute until they become translucent.
Add vegetables and saute for a minutes.
Stir in chicken , all sauces and seasoning.
Add stock , give it a boil and thicken it with cornflour paste u made by combining water and cornstarch.
You can check your seasoning at this point.
Serve hot with rice.
Note: always check adjust the seasoning according to your liking.
You can drizzle 1/2 teaspoon of sesame oil at the end on the gravy for shine and sesame aroma. ( optional).
