This simple recipe shows how to make caramel crunch. You can use this crunch in variety of sweet dishes and desserts to add a crunchy feel to it. To make the caramel crunch you will just need sugar.
Line a baking sheet with a butter paper and keep aside.
In a small saucepan, add sugar and 1 tablespoons water. Mix it well and cook on medium high heat.
Cook it till the sugar becomes dark amber. Immediately pour it on the baking sheet and let it cool completely.
Break the caramel into large pieces and place it in a food bag.
Use a rolling pin (Bailan) to crush it inside the bag.
Caramel crunch is ready, you can crush it according to the size desired.
