This chicken Malai Tikka Biryani is very different from what we traditionally cook at home. Its name explains a lot about what type of Biryani it is but one must have to try it to tell the difference.

Marinate the chicken with yoghurt, salt, cream, black pepper, cumin, red chili, ginger garlic paste, aniseed flowers, mix well and leave it for 1 hour.
Heat oil in a pan, add sliced tomatoes and cook for 2 minutes then add marinated chicken in it. Cook for 20 minutes on low flame
Take another pot, add butter and cook for 1 minute, add green chilies, salt, bay leaves, add rice and water in and cook.
When rice is tender and soft then, in the center add chicken, mint leaves, kewra essence and food color. Now cover pot with a lid that is covered with a cloth and put it on the lowest heat for around 10 minutes.
When you open it after 10 minutes, the steam should come out. Its ready to serve.
