This is one of my mom’s special recipe. I have Learnt it from her and its very yummy ? . May Allah bless my Ammi with a healthy long life.
Marinate the chicken pieces with the ingredients mentioned above. Better to mix all the spices in the yogurt and apply on all the pieces. Keep it in fridge over night.
In a wok add oil deep/ shallow fry the pieces for almost 8 minutes till they change color but don’t cook it completely . They should not turn into dark brown shade.
For gravy heat oil , add chopped onion fry for a while n add ginger garlic paste. Saute well when they smell nice add all chopped tomatoes and fry for 5 minutes.
Add salt , black n red pepper , cumin n coriander powder , karahi masala and mix well.
Add a little water and cover the wok. Let the masla cook for a while.
When the water dries bhoonfy the masala well.
When it leaves oil add the fries chicken pieces carefully.
Splash a little water. Put roughly chopped green chillies , lemon juice , all spice powder , coriander and ginger strips and slice lemon.
Keep on dam for 5 to 10 minutes till oil comes up.
if u think that the chicken is not cooked then add a little water .. when it dries up thora sa bhon lein n then dam laga den.
Serve with garama garam nans or paratha.
