Chocolate buttermilk cupcakes are awesome in taste and easy to make.

Sift flour coco powder and salt.
Beat oil and sugar together till creamy and combined properly.
Add egg and beat well till its well combined.
Add essense and soda and beat well.
Add butter milk and dry ingredients in small portions and beat well.
Lastly add hot boiling water and beat a little more.
Take a cup cake baking tray and assemble cupcake linners in it.
Pour the batter into the linner abd fill 3/4 of each.
Bake in a preheated oven on 180c for 25 to 30 minutes or untill they are done.
Poke a toothpick in the middle of the cupcake if it comes out clean means ur capcakes are ready.
Keep the baking tray outside for a while and let them rest.
Your super moist cupcakes are ready.
Serve as it is or decorate then with your favourite frosting and serve.
As buttermilk is not available in most of the countries or difficult to find you can make your own butter milk at home.
Take 1/2 cup milk and add 1/2 tablespoon lemon juice or vinegar in it . Mix and let it stand at room temperature for 5 to 10 minutes. You will see the milk will start to have curdled bits and that is a sign that your buttermilk is ready to use. Just mix it and add in the cupcake batter.
