Everyone outside Pakistan miss Burfee every now and then and its not easily available in the market. If you have ingredients at home, you can prepare this burfee within 15 minutes and it tastes close to the one you get in market. You can serve this every now and then with tea.
In a microwave safe bowl, mix Nido and cream.
Microwave for 6-8 minutes.
Take out the bowl after every 2 minutes, stir and put it back again.
After heating it for 7-8 minutes take it out and let it cool.
Add sugar (Skip this step if you have used condensed milk).
Put it in microwave for 2 more minutes.
Take a flat plate or tray and roll the mixture on it flat.
Put it in the refrigerator for an hour or two.
Sprinkle some pistachios over it.
Cut diagonal or square shapes as desired.
You can sprinkle some Kewra water or Rose Water over it before storing it in refrigerator.
While microwaving when the milk tend to rise, stop the microwave, let it cool and then heat it up again. Do not overheat as the Barfi will become very hard.
