This is one of the easiest and simplest Deseret that uses fresh strawberries and cream as main ingredients. You will love to make it and everyone will enjoy it.
Another important ingredient is strawberry conserve, you can use strawberry jam instead but the sweet depends on the brand. Strawberry conserve has strawberry chunks in it but it you do not like it you can use jam. The strawberry preserves I have used is this.
Coarsely chop digestives in a chopper or with hand. Add melted butter in it and mix well with a spoon till you see the biscuits changes color.
Firmly press it and put it in the refrigerator for 15-30 minutes till the crust become hard.
Beat half of the cream with 2 tablespoon strawberry conserve till it becomes medium semi-thick. We do not want the cream to be hard because the biscuits will absorb the moisture.
Pour it over the biscuit layer and flatten it with spoon.
Blend the remaining cream with remaining 2 tablespoon strawberry conserve and blend it till it becomes thick. Put it over the semi-thick cream layer and flatten it.
Cut the strawberries in a shape you like and add it on top, if you like you can mix some inside the cream and garnish with few. I have used all strawberries on top.
