Vanilla Pound Cake is the first choice when you want cake with your tea. You can make this pound cake mix and bake a cake or you can use this mixture to make vanilla cup cakes as well. Kids will love it and you can decorate using any frosting you like. I like it as it is with tea.
Sift the flour and baking powder thrice and keep aside.
Beat sugar and butter until light and fluffy.
Add vanilla extract and beat again.
Add eggs one by one and continue beating.
Now fold the sifted flour in portion do not over mix the batter.
preheat oven and bake for 30 to 40 minutes depending on your oven’s heat. I’ve used 150c / 300F.
